Banana's Over Almonds Oat Bake

Banana's Over Almonds Oat Breakfast Bake
20g or 2 tbsp oat bran
15g or 1-1/2 tbsp rolled oats
8g or 1 tbsp almond meal
2 tbsp almond milk
1 tbsp applesauce
35g or 1/4 small banana
1/4 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground flaxseed
1 almond, crushed (topping)
Dash of salt
Stevia to taste

Some of the best recipes are made with banana's and almonds. Such a simple mix makes for such an amazing and delicious breakfast bake. Not only does this mix taste down right amazing, but this breakfast is a super power house. Oats, almonds and banana...talk about a workout meal. This one is perfect for a 3-hour delayed workout. Eat at 7am and workout at 10am...the perfect time for your energy to be at its max.

Eat right, exercise right. I hit an hour at the gym for some cardio and weight training...then did a 6 mile hike after work. What a fabulous day!

Directions
Toss everything into a bowl and mix well. Lightly coat oven safe dish with coconut oil and poor in mixture. Top off with crushed almonds and bake in oven at 350F for 30 minutes. Toss in some almond butter as you eat it for extra goodness. Enjoy! A tip: If you don't have oat flour, no worries, just grind your oats in a coffee grinder until it becomes flour. ;)

  1. Banana peel or skin soothes and cools the skin after an allergic response. The inside of the banana peel can be used to soothe the skin.
